I think to clarify we should note there are 3 types of bins on the AS NG's, in order of prevalence:

1. Standard 737NG bins that came on all pre-BSI aircraft
2. BSI bins on aircraft received with the Boeing Signature Interior (obviously☺); 536, 537, 538 which were the last delivered 800s, and all 900er's. Maybe some (?), but definitely not all refurbed 800/900's.
3. Project Amber bins installed on one test aircraft, 584, that this thread is about.
