Buy something with a CC at a retailer. The next day, return it and say that the CC has been cancelled. They will either give you cash or offer to refund it to another card.

Alternatively, some prepaid CC gift cards can be combined. So if you have 10 gift cards laying around with $5 on them you can call and combine them into a single $50 card.
