The requirement of (for say gold) is 20 stays or 40 nights.

Does Hilton monitor if you, say, took a two night stay and broke it into two one night stays at the same hotel. Would that count as two stays or one?

Sometimes, I'm a few stays off getting gold so wanted to use this trick if its allowed/not-monitored.
