Thumbs up What is the point of the internet checkin line at BKK ??

I have done online checkin and then used the internet checkin line at BKK twice in the last fortnight, only to find on each occasion that the line was almost as long as the regular checkin line. With only two desks to service the internet line, compared to up to 14 desks for the regular line, it look much longer to get to the front of the internet line (approx 60 minutes). It was a similar debacle for a midnight flight as for an 8am flight.

This morning the internet line extended out of the checkin area and snaked onto the general concourse by about 40 metres, blocking anyone trying to get past.

What's the point of making TG's life easier by checking in online if they make pax's lives harder at checkin ??

TG pax are now savvy enough to use online checkin in large numbers, and TG needs to devote more desks to processing them at BKK.
