Two years ago we booked LHR-MIA/JFK-LHR in WTP for under £1k each departing 20 December and returning 2 January and managed to UUA to club both ways. While I realise the UUA was lucky (well, on the outbound anyway), I was expecting to get a reasonably decent cash fare this far out.

We're not yet entirely sure where we'll be in southern Florida this time, so I'll hold off for now. Not too bothered about going via NYC or ORD to save cash/get more TPs/better chance of UUA. I was just so surprised to see the fares that high this far out.
