Right ! this might be the case for those who are easy to please.Hanoi is one of the most awful dirty places in all of S E Asia. A 24 hr trip might be worth it to say I went there and for sure never going back. Oh and the Halong Bay trip, what a joke, its filthy and if you survive the drive there and back you might question what you just wasted all that time and money on. Then to cap it all you have the cattle market/airport where pick pockets will remove anything they can find if it is not zipped up tight and locked
