First of all, thanks for your reassuring report about these ex/AF 340's. I will fly on those in J in august (CDG-HEL-BKK and back) with my family so I was pretty upset to read so many bad things about these aircrafts.
Actually, I used to be a buyer in maintenance area for these very planes when I was working for AF and to me they were fine (Except it was more than 10 years ago!).
I have two questions:
- Would you recommend the first row for a family of 4 (me, 2 quiet kids who know how to behave and my wife who doesn't always)? It's all free right now and I still can pick it up.
- Is the proximity of the galley bothersome?
