If this is true (which I believe it), it means we were downgraded to get us out of that smelly room. But it worked fine for us as the deluxe room we were moved to was odor-free on the fifth floor of the main building (above the lobby & lounge) with expansive views of the beautiful property, the pools, and the sea beyond.

This goes to show you how stingy the staff was keeping us away from any real upgrade due to our award booking/stay
