I've used my Rimowa multiple times for short trips as checked luggage but this time I'm packing this case to the brim due to an extended trip in Asia. I've seen many have a strap that goes around their Rimowa suitcases in the event that it bursts open. Is this something I should be concerned about? I mean the suitcase is a 29" and its packed to 70lbs. Closing it is not an issue but with the extra weight I'm concerned about it just popping open when its thrown around (especially with abysmal luggage handlers in YYZ).... Any advice from seasoned road warriors?
