The perfect travel handbag

Hi all,

Frequent lurker, first-time poster. I'm really grateful to Flyertalk, which introduced me to Briggs and Riley and is about the first place I check when I need travel advice.

So, I'm hoping to get a little feedback from the women in the forum on something I'm working on.

I'm taking a class on user-centred product design, and my project for the course is to design the perfect travel handbag.

For the female frequent travellers, what do you look for in a handbag? What characteristics does your handbag have?

Please reply with your thoughts. I'll start:

The handbag:
Holds at least a waterbottle and a novel
Is long enough to hold a boarding pass without folding it
Is both durable and fashionable
Doesn't stain

Also, for my own benefit, if you've found the perfect handbag, please provide a name or link, and a reason why you think it's perfect.

Thank you!
