AF must be fuming. They wanted to have the best product around, they may have taken SQ as the reference - and bang a couple of days earlier comes instead-of-me-saviour-of-Alitalia nouveau riche Etihad and brings us appartments and residences. Who by the way look impressive and I'd really like to try them one day if I can.
Well, the worst part for AF is that I would almost bet that EY's Residence and Apartments (and definitely the latter) will be cheaper than AF's "curtain"! This will likely be a no brainer for people who want ultra luxury, and of course I expect some airlines to follow on the EY inflation.
