I had the Priority club visa and closed it about a year ago (only had the card for about 3 months, used the credit line to get a Southwest card) and received the 80k for that card back then. Signed up for IHG MC using the method in post 1615 a few weeks ago and got the 80K bonus again. Same rewards number both times so now I have 161K in the account. Just an FYI, my platinum status never went away during that gap (14 months or so). Also, I signed up for this account with a secondary email address that I never check. Apparently IHG was sending me emails invites to sign up for the 80k card with an invitation code included. I didn't notice it until after I checked that particular email address looking for an Amex sync email and I had already applied for the card by the time I saw it.
