Results does not equal leadership. Richard Anderson is a complete jerk who manages through intimidation and couldn't care less about leadership.
United blaming the weather for its miserable Q1 performance when it didn't seem to have near as much impact on everyone else is an excuse, not an explanation.
Recently, UA pilots started publicly calling for Smisek's ouster. I don't seem to recall DL pilots publicly calling for Anderson's ouster. If Anderson is such a jerk, wouldn't it follow that DL employees should be unhappy?
BTW, how do you know Anderson is a jerk and "manages through intimidation?" Are you a DL employee?
