Had AA award with AS to LAX and LAX to DUS on airberlin. An agent had previously told me my bag would be checked thru to DUS. When checking in at SEA agent said AS was not oneworld so I would need to pick up bag at LAX. Then check it in with airberlin and then get boarding pass. Is this normal? I do not remember I had called and asked an AA or AS agen
