If you are PLAT or below, status doesn't mean much anyway. Margin on 7500k or less of cheap fare spend won't be missed.

If you are 1K on bulk fares, you are buying either dirt cheap consolidators (in which case the margins suck and they don't want that business) or you are a corporate captive and they get your revenue without having to give you status

If you are GS, PQD doesn't apply, so no loss there.
