I have been traveling to CMB even during the civil war and was on a CX plane that was halted when the tigers crashed a homemade plane into the middle of Colombo.

Sri Lanka and Sri Lankan airlines are a success story. Things could have been left at all of their fleet destroyed after the attack on the airport.
