Sounds like your trip was exactly the same as my USO tour. It's probably no big deal to go on the USO one vs. any other one that takes you to the JSA.

I took the subway; the Seoul subway is super-efficient and easy to figure out. Your USO confirmation will tell you which possible lines you can take, and I recall there were two different options.
