I see that on the BA website there are some very attractive fares in Club World at the moment from the EU to North America (via LHR)

Obviously you have to factor in the cost getting from UK to the point of departure in the EU but even so it more than makes it worth while.

My question is regarding the return flight back from North America. Is there anything to stop you from getting off the flight at LHR and making your way home therefore not taking the final flight segment back to the EU point of origin? I guess this would only work if you don't have checked baggage as i would presume this is checked through to its final destination in the EU?
