Actually many of the prices for the return tickets are slightly more than the one way, and the fare classes for the return tickets are more restrictive (ie: don't credit well to Aegean). Since I won't be using the second leg anyway, I'd like to maximise what I can credit to Aegean.

I have a side question. This is KUL-JFK when I narrow it to Star Alliance only:
And this is the nearly identical SIN-JFK (with the same booking class):
But for some reason, when I exclude KUL-SIN out of the equation, prices jumped out by a lot for SIN-JFK. I'm trying to understand why this is the case -- would you guys know why?
