I'm planning a honeymoon for the beginning of November. Originally was thinking of going to Thailand but I've been hearing so many good things about recent trips to Africa that I'm starting to have a change of heart.

I've been in contact with various travel agents/lodge groups and I've heard different things. I'm looking for unbiased opinions on where to go on a safari given it will be November. Some say South Africa is hot and not great at that time of year and we'd be better off in Tanzania (Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater). Others say South Africa is great and a plus is that it can be combined with Cape Town.

I appreciate any opinions out there of people who have been or are in the know. Thanks!
