I personally have only had 1 experience in BA J. With my wife, 5 and 8 year olds. We loved it. And we've flown Qantas F/J, Delta J, AA J as a family.

The most important thing for me on these Trans Atlantic and Pacific flights is the amount of horizontal sleep during sleeping hours. I'd sacrifice a good in flight meal for more ZZZ almost any day of the week - even if I had to shell out $30. I honestly try and choose a 8pm departure over a 4pm one, where possible, for this exact reason.
