I have been happy with row 1, so recommend it. No issue with the cut out, which is the same for the other rows.

I only noticed the water bottle issue when I came back from AMM recently in row 3. Not an issue in row 1, as I put the water bottle in the unit between the two seats. Not sure if this space exists in the single seat?
