If they can get 4+ in a van-like taxi, that's not bad at all compared to what they'd be up against with SFO hotel and food vouchers.
2 vans, 9 total. Chits were still for $260. Since the initial delay was MX they were definitely going to be on the hook for a lot... we were all connecting to redeyes.
