I think I understood your point, and I still disagree with it because it still seems to be the same.

Ryanair? Easyjet? Big orders, big discounts, fleet commonality and a young fleet. I already mentioned 3 others. Has AA not come out of chapter 11 with exactly that "young fleet" strategy? New 777s and the biggest order ever of brand new single aisle aircraft. Even BA has mentioned the benefits of having a younger fleet. I am not in a position to put together a list for you, but I think there are a great many decent sized airlines that use a young fleet model. The more that do, the more that will simply have to in order to compete with them.
