Have a five night stay in France coming up at a Marriott property. If I got the card with immediate Ritz Gold status, would I be recognized as a Marriott Gold when I check in and get the free breakfasts? If so, my out of pocket for the card for year one is only $95 after the travel credit and that seems like a great deal.
