Not sure I'm lucky with the 2 stays I had with CW, but I had a good impression of it. I stayed at Turlock CA and Phoenix AZ and they were both very nice hotels. Clean and big rooms - the one in PHX apologised for not giving me an upgrade due to 'all sold out'. Both places gave me a goody bag and an item from the pantry - both are on PB so I may feel different if I pay over $100 for it.

SB is definitely a step up - they have free breakfast which might mean a lot for some people.
