The post you linked is a bit more than a year old. The issue the poster addressed has since been resolved.
If you read the specific post (#27) linked, you will see it was concerning the 752 TATL flights (yes the overall thread was on a different 777 issue -- but additionally info on 752 issue was buried in that thread). It is hard to engage if you don't engage yourself.
I have linked three separate threads, with multiple confirmations, with UA employees conforming, .... if you have specific contradictory information please contribute. But saying, I have not heard that, is not worth any further engagement from me.
