Has DL not used the term ACS agents for years? What is the title of this new position?
Airport Customer Service — Ticketing/Gate Agents
Wherever people may be traveling, for whatever reason, the journey can be elevated considerably by encountering warm smiles and friendly, efficient service from the moment they enter the airport. Airport Customer Service Agents help our passengers and their bags get from the front door to the terminal gate to onboard the aircraft, ready for an on–time takeoff.
Give your future a first class upgrade
Your outgoing personality, combined with plenty of poise and patience, will position you front and center in Delta’s mission to take passenger service to new heights — at every point in the travel process. Working in the airport at the front/ticketing counter, gate area or baggage service office, we’ll count on you to assist customers with checking–in, ticketing, tagging/handling baggage, boarding, deplaning and dispatching flights on–time.
While specific positions will have unique requirements (see individual job descriptions), you must possess at least a H.S. diploma/GED equivalent, be at least 18 years of age, and possess current authorization to work in the U.S. to work at Delta.

Am I missing something here? The position above is listed on the DL website. Part time, ready reserve, seasonal and perhaps full time. It does not appear in just hubs.
ACS is a very general term. What is the title of the new position (if there even is such a position)? I have a couple of nephews that would love such a job over the summer break.
On a side note:
I have never heard of such a thing as temp jobs for FA's at any carrier. Why would DL bring back retired employees to fill these positions? Would that not effect pensions, medical, etc?
