Doesn't Delta have extra auxiliary help something called "Ready Reserve"
available for areas needing attention during say the holidays or high travel times ?
Yes it would be very very nice to have former employees with the skills to
move people; baggage and flights keeping everyone and everything in sync !
Delta would be a great airline to do this since it is almost all non-union and
changing hats to work other jobs would not be an inhibiting factor.
Idea would best be utilized in a large station with lots of flights rather than
an end of the spoke destination with just the one daily flight.
But is this idea of one crying in the wilderness for attention ?
Yes, DL does have Ready Reserve (RR), however, the company does run out of FAs due to time limits and being out of place.
Am I looking for attention? No. Would I still like to help out at times? Yes. I really do like working with the public.

Appropriate? Sure. It directly with the customer.
FT seems to be more up to date regarding the company, than I am at times. That's a fact.
Would I come back to do luggage? No, that would be ground staff. The "ACS Agents". I'm retired In-Flight. I'd work on the plane.
