The weekend GO train runs out of the Falls until the holiday Monday (schedules are online); Tuesdays it's back to the GO bus only.

If you both have Nexus you can use the Whirlpool Bridge to go cross-border shopping. That bridge is only open 7 am till 11 pm, not overnight. Toll is paid by putting money on your Nexus card on the US side.
