I stayed two nights at the Gibson a few weeks ago. Used 50k Choice Privileges points that were going to expire. Like others have said, there really isn't much around this hotel. HOWEVER, the tram is RIGHT OUTSIDE the front door, and it's the end of the line, so you can only take it one direction. The ride into the heart of Dublin only takes 5-10 minutes. Hotel was nice but didn't spend much time there. European designed modern rooms. I have no regrets about staying here, and would consider staying here again, especially if I needed to use up Choice points before expiration.
