Are there any online-only banks that you guys are having luck with depositing good sized amounts of MO's on a consistent monthly basis? I'm getting desperate for a new bank account to use that has no monthly fees and all I have locally are the big branch banks. Not even a credit union.
What is "good sized" for you? I've been depositing around $10-12K per month into Everbank (which is my main bank, breaking the don't poop where you eat rule!) but only for three months. I've done a few thousand into TIAA, Barclays and Penfed, but nothing long-term, which is where the shutdown issues might be. Simple complained after $8.5K in three or four months!
