Nice. At that kind of hotel in Japan, I would expect some sort of shelf-stable, chewy thing that was the right shape but not much else.
I don't think I've ever tried a Pompadour croissant - or if I did I don't remember it - so I can't comment on whether it's "top notch" but most mid-tier Japanese hotel breakfast buffets would be greatly improved if they offered even a half-decent depa-chika croissant.
