In the past (I don't know if things have changed), I have bought tickets from TAs for, say $1000, to get a ticket showing $1200 as the fare. I assume these were some kind of bulk fares. The first time this happened, I panicked and asked the TA why the ticket showed one price and I just paid you another, lower, price - I was told not to worry about it as I was only charged the lower amount. My assumption is, I was on some kind of bulk fare. Is this how they (at least, sometimes) work? Or, have times changed?
