AF tweaked their livery in 2008. The reduced the number of blue bars on the tail from 4 to 3, the bars curve at the bottom to complement the logo, the font was tweaked and they removed the space between Air and France.
But essentially it's still the same, they decided to just modernise things rather than replace it. I think it looks great.
Tweak isn't the right word, I think it's a bit more than that but the principle stays the same, just like BA. All 3 BA liveries have incorporated the same basic elements - Red, white and blue colour palette; Blue bellies and engines (where applicable); The tail sporting a section of the Union Flag, made up of three separate elements; The logotype is complimented by a logo, initially with the Speedbird which evolved into the Landor Speedwing and then into the current Speedmarque.
In that abstract sense all BA's main 3 liveries are the same.
Whilst I've always thought the Speedmarque on the 777s look a bit wonky, the current livery has stood the test of time impeccably. As much as I love the Landor, it's very much of it's time.
