Reward travel credit
did get processed because of the trouble ticket the second supervisor created; two days later a $5,000.00 "Travel Credit" was posted to my account. I also received the 10% bonus walk on miles they advertise.
This was an unnecessary hassle, but glad it worked out as I planned, $5K in premium cruise travel for using a Barclay card is a good value for me.
If it was IT mishap, then Barclay's should be aware of the IT problem if their management at that level has the interest to investigate the problem from follow up diagnosis.
What is surprising is the CSR all said there was a cap? doesn't make sense but moving on, European cruise in 22 days!
