I am new to the forum. I have been out of the miling game for 6 years. I used to collect swiss air miles between 98 and until they bankrupted. I took many many free flights within Europe, between Boston and Europe, between Boston and Hawaii and the Caribbean. It was just me back then. Now married with two kids, I want to get back in the game.

We spend about 100k in credit cards a year. This does not include car payments, utility bills or school tuitions. How many miles can I get for spending 100k a year? Can I get enough that I can buy at least two business ticket Bos-Ist or JFK-Ist every year? What is the best strategy? Currently, I am not collecting any miles on our credit cards. I mainly use a chase amazon credit card and a department store credit card for purchases. Which card should I go with? My credit score is very good. I am sure I can get anything I want.
