The road from Los Suenos to Manuel Antonio is fine and does not require an SUV with 4WD. A standard size car will be fine.

Not much going on late night at the hotel, although I believe the pools are open until 10 or 11. The main options for night life would be either at the marina next door but even that seemed to be winding down by 9:30 or so or head into Jaco where there are many bars and clubs.
