I have a booking for new year eve, SPG Breakfast Plus in a Deluxe Room, I liked so much the roof terrace also if some reviews says that the spa and the pool are pretty small for the number of rooms... is there anyone that agree with this opinion?
We like shopping and stroll around so it seems that this place could be the right choice, we are 2 adults (woo woo without kids this time

I stayed at the end of February. The service was great, the platinum recognition stellar (upgraded to a large Burj Al Arab-view suite) and the lounge spacious with a good selection of evening and morning fare.
I loved the fact that I could easily walk to and from the Metro (even with luggage) and that the entire Mall was at my disposal (took a 2km morning constitutional around it).
The rooftop area is lovely with great views day and night, but you are correct that the 2 pools are quite small. However, on NYE, I doubt many people will be using them. The gym was large and well equipped and the spa seemed inviting although I didn't use it.
