I'm not quite sure I understand how status miles with QR work. I currently have 116 Qpoints. Some 40 of them reach an age of 1 year at the beginning of December. Early May I'll have silver status, and in late November I'll have around 306 Qpoints and gold status. Does this mean I'll have the gold status for a few days (wonder if QR botheres to send out a new card) or did I misunderstand something?
