What the heck...having no manual override capability is guaranteed disaster.
It doesn't matter how smart the algorithm is and how flawless the automated system is...there are going to be problems, and human intervention will be required.
I'm perfectly fine with having an automated system, but if the GAs can't override it in urgent cases, I just don't see how the system can work in such an unpredictable environment, where IRROPS can happen any time.
Going to customer service by gate 20 in YYZ...I can't believe they said something like this.
