All I can say is thank god SE's have the concierge team to fall back on. I wouldn't want to ask a GA the time of day at a gate when this goes live. Apparently, this new system will be rolled out to International Stations at a later date yet to be confirmed. I am assuming they will see how it goes and then phase it in system wide.
If it's oversold, how can GAs ask for volunteers, and remove those pax? Or does the automated system just boot off pax based on its own priorities?
