Sorry if this has been covered before, however I've just booked a 241 redemption to JFK.

As you'll probably know, this is 120K Avios and just over £1000 in taxes etc...

I thought I'd do a dummy booking on BA.com to check prices and it came up at £19,339.82!!!

That's quite frankly rediculous and made me wonder if anyone actually pays it?? A bit like a car's RRP, never sold at that price, but there as a price point.

Interested to know if some people do pay full fares.
