United doesn't seem to have any 757-200s with lie-flat seats from SFO to EWR on any date near the date I want to travel next week.

So I'm leaning toward a lie-flat from SFO to JFK. What are the pros and cons between United's and American's lie-flats on that route?
Never tried this route but I'd choose AA over UA any day. Ever since the merger, I feel the catering and service level went downhill. Would never spend a $ on UA ever again, unless the price difference was really significant.
