You think? I doubt it.

I bet that by now, security screeners at Canadian airports have been given directive (by Canadian authorities) equivalent to the American ones. For transborder flights out of PFI areas at least, and if the same screeners work domestic, transborder and international areas, they'll just have them all acting the same way for consistency.

In fact this is probably going to be a directive from the DHS to all security staff at all airports worldwide that might have flights to the US. Consider that in AKL, there was a second level of security for flights to the US only.
