Question for you wise ones:

I'm a UA 1 K.

I've just booked an award ticket for my sister (same last name) using my miles. This is from EWR to Europe on UA and LH. Return is Brussels Airways to UA. I paid for taxes with my Chase Prez. Plus card. The e-ticket is currently showing my 1k/*G status.

I am about to PURCHASE a second ticket for the same flights for her partner. I want to do the purchase b/c I have a $300 travel voucher to reduce the costs.

I will NOT be traveling with them.

Questions:

1-Will they face any issues if they are not able to show the credit card used for ticket purchase, either in EWR or Brussels?

2-I was able to get E+ seats for my sister, given that it was an award ticket. Reading this thread, it doesn't sound like I'd be able to do the same with the revenue ticket, is that correct? Does it make any difference that I'm using a voucher for that?

3-It sounds like mixed success on club entry. Do you advise that they just give it a shot and see if they are lucky?

Thanks for any info!
