Thanks all for your replies. Sounds like Zurich is the best fit for us. We'll travel from Paris to gimmelwald stay four nights then take a couple days to get to Zurich. Any suggestions on places to stay en route to Zurich, and in Zurich with easy airport access? Also have questions about train travel from Paris to Gimmelwald? Is this too much (9 hours) for one day? I'll post that question separately as its off topic from this post
