I'm just saying it's not an upgrade to have to use your own device, no matter what it is, but in my opinion it's a downgrade.

It's much more user friendly to watch movies/tv from a seatback screen than to have to add more more thing you have to bring/use/charge during flight where there is very limited space.

A premium Y product, in my opinion, is a screen fixed in the seat in front of you.

UA is touting this as an improvement, and I just don't see it. Its' an inconvenience, and it's takes up very limited space with cords, chargers, etc.

I just don't see in any way how this is "better".
