This is exactly how our 5 hour delay from San Diego was handled last Sunday, emails, texts etc all in plenty of time to extend hire car and enjoy the holiday a little more. We also got upgraded from WT to CW due to them having to replace a 3 class plane with a 4 class one, overall quite certainly the best delay I ever had!
