Similar experience this evening at the ORD terminal 3 Admirals Club near gate G3. The first lady looked and replied that my Prestige card would not give me access to the club. Her colleague overheard this and quickly explained to her that it did grant access and should be processed "similar to how the American Express Platinum cards are swiped." They both looked at the screen, swiped the card a few times, and then agreed the only way to process it was with an "override." They both smiled, handed my card back, and said thank you. Until these employees are given more training on how to swipe and process the Prestige cards, I cannot imagine how they can effectively limit this benefit to only the primary cardholder.
